Computrol Systems has been a leader in bulk liquid control and management since 1981. When the business began, the technology was far different – Windows and MS-DOS had not yet been released, and personal computers were still being constructed out of garages.
Originally established as a subsidiary of a large transport company to address fuel management challenges, Computrol later diversified to the field of access control systems, which was later sold off in 2005. Founded in the Pacific Northwest, equipment produced by the company is constructed tough enough to withstand extreme conditions, ranging from hot deserts to cold Arctic winters.
Computrol has also improved with technology over time. From big floppy disks, their software evolved to USB sticks and now cloud-based solutions. Hardware from key-based to cards and fobs, to mobile apps nowadays. Nowadays, Computrol has systems that can support an unlimited number of terminals and users globally, all controllable from a smartphone or computer.
While other companies diversify, Computrol remains focused on its core strength: bulk liquid control and management. Computrol is capable of communicating with various electronic systems and also provides software and firmware customization as needed. With a multi-continent-based workforce, Computrol continues to innovate and adapt its methods to meet the evolving needs of customers in the bulk liquid management industry
